Ingredients
- 1 lb Sultanas
- ½ lb butter
- 1 teas. vanilla essence
- 1 teas. Almond Essence
- 8 ozs sugar (1 cup)
- 3 well beaten eggs
- 12 ozs flour (2 cups)
- pinch salt
- 1 teas. Baking Powder
Method
- Boil Sultanas for 5 mins.
- Strain and cut in butter, and essence.
- Add sugar, mix well.
- Then add beaten egg.
- Add flour, salt & Baking Powder.
- Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 160C, 140 fan bake.
